VOICES OF FAITH: PARISH CHOIR
Voices of Faith sings weekly, usually at the 10 AM Mass, from September through May. Rehearsals are on Thursday evenings at 7 PM in the Learning Suite in our Ministry Center. We welcome all singers at all levels of talent. A variety of instrumentalists are welcome as well. GENESIS: RHYTHM & SONG Genesis: Rhythm & Song is for students in grades 1 through 8. This unique choir and drumming ensemble provides music ministry for special seasons during the Church year as well as for celebrations during the Christmas and Easter seasons. Rehearsals are generally held on Mondays from 4 PM to 4:45 PM. See The Green Dialog for more specific rehearsal/performance dates. YOUTH INSTRUMENTALISTS We encourage our young people who are studying an instrument in their school to join us in Music Ministry at the 10 AM Mass throughout the seasons of Advent and Lent. Student violinists, trumpeters, cellists, and saxophonists have all found their place in this ensemble throughout the years. All are welcome! Rehearsals are Sundays at 9:15 AM in the choir area. CANTOR Cantors lead the assembly in sung prayer. Trained and/or experienced vocalists are asked to audition with the director of music. |
